Affiliate Disclosure

Bitcoin Wealth Platform earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with select providers in the spaces we cover. This page explains exactly how that works and how affiliate revenue is kept separate from editorial coverage.

How affiliate revenue works

When you click through to a provider from a BWP tool or guide and take an action (opening an account, taking out a loan, signing up for a service), BWP may receive a commission from that provider. The provider pays the commission, not you. The price, terms, and conditions you receive are identical to those you would receive going to the provider directly.

We disclose affiliate relationships in two places: on this page, and inline at the point where the affiliate link appears.

What affiliate revenue does not affect

The editorial side of BWP operates independently of affiliate relationships. Specifically:

Provider data is verified from primary sources. Every data point in the IRA Finder, the Loan Calculator, and the guides is traceable to a published provider source. Verification dates are visible on every tool and guide. Affiliate status does not change a single number in our data.

The “Best for” labels are editorial assignments. When a provider is labeled “Best for low fees” or “Best for self-custody,” that assignment reflects the data and the editorial framework, not the affiliate relationship. A provider with an affiliate relationship cannot buy a label.

Lifetime cost calculations are deterministic. The math behind tool outputs (lifetime cost projections, loan cascade outcomes) is the same regardless of which providers are affiliate partners. The formula is the formula.

Coverage decisions are independent. Which providers appear on BWP is determined by which providers serve our reader category, not by which providers offer affiliate programs. Providers without affiliate programs appear on the site if they are relevant to our coverage.

What affiliate revenue does affect

We apply to affiliate programs with providers we have decided are worth covering. We do not cover providers because they have affiliate programs. If a provider rejects our application or terminates the relationship, our coverage of that provider does not change.

What would trigger a coverage change

The following changes are independent of affiliate status:

  • A provider materially changes its fees, terms, or custody arrangements
  • A provider exits the market or changes ownership
  • A provider’s reliability deteriorates (regulatory action, security incidents, customer complaints reaching a credible threshold)
  • A provider misrepresents its product

Any of these can result in revised coverage, a downgraded label, or removal from BWP tools and guides. Affiliate revenue does not slow or prevent these actions.

Current affiliate relationships

BWP earns revenue through affiliate partnerships with select providers in the IRA, lending, custody, and tax sectors. Specific provider relationships are disclosed inline where they appear in tools and guides.
